“They were wonderful and very much in love.
“Like any couple they liked things just so – you have a particular vision for your day and why not?
“You want it to be lovely both for the world and for each other.
“I think the song was very special to them and how it sounded.
“And they were right.”
Admitting the group were unable to control their excitement after being driven by police escort to Windsor castle, Karen added: “I don’t remember nervousness.
“I remember extreme excitement.
“We sang all the way in the coat from London to Windsor.
“The sun was shining and we were not nervous we were ready.”
At the time reports claimed that Meghan, 39, demanded Windsor Castle chapel was filled with atomisers after moaning about the smell of the venue.

Reports claimed that she “didn’t like it’s musty smell”.
While she never commented on the claims, one of her friends shut down the allegations to US mag People.
The anonymous pal said: “I can’t think of anything more ridiculous.
“If people knew how spiritual she is and how serious and respectful she takes her relationship with God – she would never ask for something like that.
“She and Harry are both very grounded.”
