Meghan Markle film comeback rumours claim she's in Beyoncé's visual album

Meghan Markle is rumoured to be making her return to the small screen by appearing in Beyoncé’s upcoming visual album Black Is King.

Twitter has been set alight over an alleged screenshot of a now deleted Twitter announcement seemingly from the official Good Morning America page confirming the news.

The screenshot, which is doing the rounds online shows, a tweet which reads: “EXCLUSIVE: Meghan Markle to feature in Beyoncé’s new visual album Black Is King, released on Disney+ on July 31st, marking her first on-screen appearance since stepping down as senior royal.”

It has not been possible to verify the claim.

Reps for both Disney+ and Beyoncé have not returned Daily Star Online’s request for comment.

Speculating on the rumour, one Twitter fan wrote: “MEGHAN MARKLE IS IN BEYONCÉ’S #BLACKISKING!!!!!! OMFGGGGG”

Another questioned: “MEGHAN MARKLE WILL BE IN BEYONCÉ’S MOVIE???”

“MEGHAN MARKLE IN BEYONCÉ MOVIE AHHHHHHHHHH,” a third gushed.

A fourth tweeted: “The thought of Beyoncé and Meghan Markle having any type of friendship fills me up with so much happiness. Yes.”

However, others were more cautious – thinking the image was faked.

“That doesn’t look like the other GMA posts and she’s not listed on the cast list,” one fan commented.

A second responded: “It’s fake it was created by the Hive [Beyoncé’s fans] just for a bit of fun promo, Meghan ain’t in the movie.”

Meghan, started out her career on the US edition of Deal of No Deal before landing a role in US show Suits.

Harry found himself in hot water during the premiere after he was allegedly caught pushing for Meghan to team up with Disney during a chat with the film giant’s CEO Bob Iger.

In April this year, Meghan sat down with Good Morning America to give the programme an exclusive look at Disney+’s Elephant.

Speaking at the time, Meghan shared: “I am really grateful to have this opportunity to give this story of elephants to life,” Meghan said in an exclusive pre-recorded clip aired on GMA.

She added: “I have been very lucky to have had hands on experience with elephants in their natural habitat.

“If we had more awareness of the obstacles we are facing I think we would take care of each other and animals in a very different way.”
