Paris Jackson is set to portray Jesus Christ in new indie flick Habit.
The 22-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson will appear alongside American singer and actress Bella Thorne in the movie, directed by Janell Shirtcliff and written by Suki Kaiser.
Filming has already wrapped, and is currently in the post-production phase, however, the movie’s release date has yet to be announced.
The film follows Bella Thorne as a street-smart girl with a Jesus fetish, reportedly played by Paris, who ends up in a spot of bother.

After a drug deal turns violent she masquerades as a nun.
The film’s producer Donovan Leitch told Fox News that Jackson’s Jesus “visits [Thorne’s character] on a few different occasions.”
He added that the film is “inspired by early Tarantino” and quickly pushed forward with the post-production process after filming wrapped a week before the coronavirus outbreak.

Starring alongside Paris and Bella are musicians Josie Ho, Gavin Rossdale, Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart as well as model Andreja Pejic.
And the long list of artists was no coincidence as Donovan explained: “We intentionally stacked the film with rock stars and will have a very rocking soundtrack.”
The rising star has appeared in a handful of shows prior to bagging the role.

She kick-started her career when she portrayed Rachel Wells on the Fox TV series Star.
After her four-episode stint on the show, she played Nelly, a small role, in 2018’s Gringo.
Joining the star-studded cast, the movie also features Joel Edgerton, Charlize Theron, David Oyelowo and Thandie Newton.
