Michelle Keegan hints she's had enough of 2020 as she models cheeky hoody

Michelle Keegan has clearly had enough of the year 2020 following the Covid-19 pandemic and everyone living their lives in lockdown.

The 33-year-old actress couldn’t resist giving the disappointing year the finger as she took to her Instagram Story on Thursday evening.

Sharing a laid-back selfie as she relaxed at home, the former soap star was wearing a baby pink hoody which was emblazoned with a rather rude hand gesture.

Underneath the print on the cosy-looking garment, Michelle wrote: “Dear 2020… that is all. Bye x.”

It comes after Michelle spoke out about spending lockdown with her husband Mark Wright back in May.

Appearing on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden this morning, Michelle spoke about the toll filming Our Girl in South Africa used to take, explaining that she’d be away for four months of the year.

Host Jamie retorted: “Three months with Mark in lockdown must take its toll as well, doesn’t it?”

To which Michelle joked: “It feels like it’s been six months already, Jamie! It feels like it’s been six months already.”

Later in the chat, she admitted that her husband was still fast asleep – as she complained about him moaning at her earlier in the day.

She revealed “He had the cheek to moan at me this morning for making too much noise!

“I went, ‘you get up every morning first and make a racket!’ – this is the one time I did it!”

Michelle has since returned to work and has been picture filming the third series of Brassic in recent days.

The cast and crew are back at work after filming was reportedly delayed by two months due to a member of the production team showing Covid symptoms.

A source told The Sun Michelle was tested for the virus after filming was originally due to kick off in September.

The insider said at the time: “The safety of the cast and crew is of the utmost importance so until bosses know it’s totally safe filming won’t be going ahead.

“It could be a fortnight before it starts again. Michelle was due to start filming this week but nothing is happening until they’re sure it’s safe.”
