Molly-Mae Hague drops Tommy Fury marriage bombshell after proposal rumours

Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague isn’t quite ready to walk down the aisle – despite boyfriend Tommy Fury ‘s willingness to propose.

Opening up to her fans over on YouTube, the 20-year-old influencer revealed Tommy, 21, would propose “tomorrow” if she wanted.

However, the reality star insisted they were still “too young” to make things official, preferring to wait a little longer.

She said: “Tommy would literally propose to me tomorrow if I would let him but I keep saying to him, ‘No, let’s just wait, let’s just wait,’ because I’m too young.

“Yeah, [because my sister would] go mad and just because we’re too young.

“It will happen one day, it’s something we can look forward to together, so I just wanna leave it for another day.”

However, the ITV2 star raised fans’ hopes when she admitted marriage and children was on the horizon in the not-so-distant future.

She added: “But [marriage and kids] are two things that will happen soon, hopefully. But, when I say soon I don’t mean next week!”

Molly-Mae and Tommy met on the 2019 series of Love Island, making it into the grand finale before series champs Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea beat them at the final hurdle.

The lovebirds are the only remaining couple from last year’s summer series, having moved in together into a swish Manchester apartment last October.

Tommy raised fans’ hopes earlier this year when he reportedly promised to propose to Molly-Mae in Las Vegas – so long as his brother Tyson Fury won his match.

The boxing pro squared up to face Deontay Wilder in Nevada last February, eventually reigning supreme after a tense head-to-head.

However, despite his success, fans were disappointed when no proposal followed – though Molly Mae has finally explained why.

The sweethearts aren’t the only Love Island couple to have stood the test of time – 2017 contestant Camilla Thurlow announced some exciting news yesterday.

Camilla, who fell for hunky model Jamie Jewitt on the dating series, revealed the couple is expecting their first child after three years together.

Sharing a sweet video from their home during the lockdown, the parents-to-be waved about an ultrasound as they celebrated the heartwarming announcement.
