Neighbours’ Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) has had a lot on her plate in recent weeks, and it is set to get even worse.
Not only did her marriage to Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards) hit the rocks after a misunderstanding, she also discovered she was pregnant.
Fans know that Chloe has got Huntington’s disease, a genetic brain disorder which causes memory loss, difficult walking and mood swings, and also reduces life span.
After she found out she had the illness, it was also revealed that it was passed to her by her mother Fay (Zoe Bertram).
This week, Chloe asked Pierce if Fay could come and live with them as she wants to spend more time with them.

Pierce is convinced that getting a live-in nurse is the best way to take of care, and asks Nicolette if she would be willing.
Little does he know, Nicolette is harbouring feelings for Chloe, and she wonders whether she can put her affection aside to help Fay.
When she does arrive, Pierce and Hendrix are horrified when they realise how much she has deteriorated, and he worries how much it will affect Chloe.

Could Chloe be confronted with her own mortality as she watches her mum die from the same disease as her?
April previously said to Daily Star Online: “Chloe knows this disease is a ticking clock.
“She is brought back down to earth and comes face to face with this disease, she is really confronted with it.”

Tim added: “She’s looking at her like, ‘do I want to bring the burden of my Huntingtons onto someone because it might be years of someone nursing you when you’re sick, until the day I die?’
“Pierce wants to be the rock she can lean on, a man that will be there for her, and there through the tough times.
“And it’s Neighbours, there’s always something round the corner.”
Could Fay be about to meet a tragic ending after coming back to Erinsborough?
Neighbours continues on Monday at 1.45pm on Channel 5.
