Nick Cannon has been axed by American broadcaster ViacomCBS following a string of anti-Semitic comments.
The host of The Masked Singer and America’s Got Talent has been accused of using his podcast, Cannon’s Class, to openly promote anti-Semitic theories.
Since the episode went live, Nick’s employer, ViacomCBS have axed the presenter from the network.
The US broadcaster said: “we are deeply troubled that Nick has failed to acknowledge or apologize for perpetuating anti-Semitism, and we are terminating our relationship with him.”
A statement from ViacomCBS read: “ViacomCBS condemns bigotry of any kind and we categorically denounce all forms of anti-Semitism.
“We have spoken with Nick Cannon about an episode of his podcast Cannon’s Class on YouTube, which promoted hateful speech and spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
“While we support ongoing education and dialogue in the fight against bigotry, we are deeply troubled that Nick has failed to acknowledge or apologize for perpetuating anti-Semitism, and we are terminating our relationship with him.
“We are committed to doing better in our response to incidents of anti-Semitism, racism, and bigotry. ViacomCBS will have further announcements on our efforts to combat hate of all kinds.”
Cannon was slammed after comments he made about white people and how they became “savages” with some social media users claiming he is a “black supremacist”.
Nick, 39, was chatting to former Public Enemy star Richard “Professor Griff” Griffin, 59, who was sacked from the group in 1989 for making similar claims.
The American comedian claimed that Jewish families controlled “everything even outside of America” before saying that black people can’t be anti-Semitic.
During his chat with Professor Griff, Nick said: “When you have a person who has the lack of pigment, the lack of melanin that they know they will be annihilated, therefore they know that however they got the power, they have a lack of compassion, melanin comes with compassion.
“Melanin comes with soul, that we call it soul, we soul brothers and sisters, that’s the melanin that connects us so the people that don’t have it, are, and I’m going to say this carefully, are a little less and where the term actually comes from, and I’m going to bring it back around to Minister Farrakhan, where they may not have the compassion.”

He continued: “When they were sent to the Mountains of Caucasus, they didn’t have the power of the sun.
“The sun started to deteriorate them. So, they’re acting out of fear, they’re acting out of low self-esteem, they’re acting out of deficiency, so therefore the only way they can act is evil.”
Nick added: “They have to rob, steal, rape, kill in order to survive.
“So then, these people that didn’t have what we have — and when I say we, I speak of the melanated people — they had to be savages, they had to be barbaric because they’re in these Nordic mountains.”

“They’re acting as animals so they’re the ones that are actually closer to animals. They’re the ones that are actually the true savages and then they built up this conquering of barbaric mentality.”
People have since taken to social media to slam the television personality.
Rapper Zuby tweeted: “Yikes… Nick Cannon has gone full black supremacist. This is 100%, certified racist.

While another user added: “It’s a hilariously delusional form of racism. He probably believes Wakanda is real.”
“More black supremacy out in the open. What a surprise” added a third.
