Noel Gallagher reunites with iconic Wonderwall guitar as Liam reignites feud

Noel Gallagher was briefly reunited with the guitar that he wrote Wonderwall on earlier this year.

The Oasis man revisited Rockfield studios where they recorded (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? for a new YouTube Music doc about the LP.

Studio engineer Nick Brine was given the guitar as compensation when Liam destroyed his own one – thinking it was Noel’s.

Noel said: “Someone called Liam had smashed my guitar up – that’s the one I play Wonderwall on, you jammy b*****d that’s got to be worth tens of pounds. Giving guitars away, I must have been high.”

Clearly proud of the LP 25 years on he reveals how it was recorded in three weeks “and one of those weeks we weren’t there because we had a massive f**king fight”.

And of course he also had to tell Liam to “f**king shut up or go back to the house” regularly, although he concedes his voice is “on another level”.

Speaking of the LP’s legacy he added: “At this point we were a big successful indie band who were gonna not lose the momentum.

Nobody had any idea what was going to happen. I wrote the songs and I was more surprised than anyone.”

The full interview is out Thursday evening on YouTube Music.

Meanwhile, his brother Liam, who he has been in a war of words with for years, has hit out at him after his interview.

After the interview was posted on the official Twitter account, Liam hit out at his brother, writing: “COOEE”.

He then followed it up by saying: “The thing is rite [sic] it’s a sad existence to think it’s all about you breaks my heart”.
