Aimée Osbourne has revealed the reason why she chose not to make her life public when her famous family opened the doors to MTV who followed her family from 2002 to 2005.
Ozzy and Sharon’s eldest, 36, has gone on to live a relatively quieter life to that of her sister Kelly and brother Jack who were frequently seen fighting on The Osbournes.
However, Aimée opted to shy away from being famous and following in her parent’s footsteps for one reason.
In her most candid discussion, the singer and actress has opened up about her privacy, legendary family and own music career.

Speaking to New York’s Q104.3 radio station, the Cocaine Style singer said: “For me, I had grown up around having a pretty well-known dad anyway, and I always really valued my privacy within that family.”
Aimée went on to add: “For me personally, for who I am, as far as morally, and also just to give myself a chance to actually develop into a human being as opposed to just being remembered for being a teenager, it didn’t really line up with what I saw my future as.”

Speaking about the show which paved the way for reality television, Aimée admitted: “definitely worked great for the rest of my family,” but later said she “knew it was never something that I would have been able to consider”.
While paving a name for herself as a musician and not using her surname, Aimée believes that the show would have negatively impacted her career saying: “I felt if I’d stayed with The Osbournes and done the whole thing, I would have been typecast right away.”

Her famous mum, Sharon, 67, spoke openly on The Talk that Aimée broke her heart when she moved out of the family home aged 16 so she wouldn’t be involved in the filming.
Speaking in June 2018, the music manager said: “I know that my eldest girl, Aimée, left home at 16 and she couldn’t live in our house because we were filming and it drove her insane.”
Sharon added: “She was happy, but it broke my heart when she moved.”
