Page 3 icon Linda Lusardi has spoken out about her horrific experience with coronavirus, which she says got so bad she wanted to die.

The 61-year-old model and her actor husband Sam Kane, 51, were diagnosed with Covid-19 and Linda spent 10 days in hospital.

The brunette beauty said things got so difficult before she went to hospital that she and Sam both reached the end of their tethers.

Linda said: “It got to the stage where both of us were praying we wouldn’t wake up because it was so bad.”

Sam added: “We just looked at each other and said, ‘Look, we can’t take this anymore.’

“It was horrific. It was like the devil’s hands were strangling me and holding me down and laughing in my face.”

Sam told the Sun that it was the “deepest, darkest place” that the pair had ever been.

The showbiz agent reckons he caught the virus first during a business meeting, when the strict social distancing measures were not in place.

He then believes he passed it to Linda while she was caring for him.

Linda described some of the horrific symptoms, saying that her vomit was “blue”.

Eventually, their son Jack, 20, called for an ambulance and they were hooked up to oxygen and taken to hospital.

Meanwhile, daughter Lucy, 24, watched the whole thing on CCTV linked to her phone, worried it might be the last time she saw her parents alive.

Sam tested positive for Covid-19 first, while Linda’s results were initially negative, before she was also confirmed to have the virus.

Three days later, Sam began to improve but Linda’s condition got worse, with doctors warning she might not make it due to her age.

She said: “To hear that was just dreadful and I just burst into tears.”

Now though, Linda is back at home after being released from hospital on Monday.

She is now urging people to stick to the social distancing rules and hopes the NHS will be properly rewarded for what they’ve done throughout the pandemic.
