Paul Gascoigne getting over break-up woes at sprawling countryside caravan park

Football legend Paul Gascoigne is getting over his breakup from girlfriend by Wendy Leech by staying at a countryside caravan park in Yorkshire.

The sprawling venue boasts a range of caravans and lodges complete with hot tubs – making it a perfect place reconnect with the world after a break-up.

Gazza, 52, has been seen taking time out by fishing at the on-site lake and enjoying a couple of cans of beer.

A source told Daily Star Online: “Gazza has been on the complex for a few weeks.

“Despite reports about his relationship, it was never anything serious, regardless he’s now a free agent off grid.

“The complex where he is staying allows him to unwind away from passers by.

“He’s been seen fishing and enjoying time in the sun.

“Most of the properties have a hot tub as well so no doubt he’s been making use of them with the warm weather.”

Paul Gascoigne was dumped by Wendy Leech

It is not known if Gazza is paying for the £500-a-week accommodation or has been gifted the stay.

Last week, Daily Star Sunday revealed how Gazza and Wendy had gone their separate ways after he was filmed in a “lad’s pad” at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

A family friend told the publication: “Wendy was really keen on Paul and thinks he’s lovely but couldn’t trust him to behave responsibly.

“She’s a mother of two and has three young grandchildren to think about and has to put their health and safety first.

“They’d been staying at her flat, but moved to Bridlington where they could be left alone during lockdown. But Paul let her down.”

A rep for Paul Gascoigne has been contacted by Daily Star Online for comment.
