Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster has revealed the Maggie May crooner was jealous after she signed up to BBC hit Strictly Come Dancing.
Speaking frankly, Penny explained that Rod was keen to know who she was paired with on the show in 2007 which has been linked to the breakdown of so many romances over the years.
Penny said: “The funniest thing is my husband said, ‘It’s fantastic you’re doing Strictly.
“Live your wildest dreams and go for it girl.
“But then he was like, ‘Who are you dancing with?'”

“She’s in the arms of another man.
“She’s spending five to six hours a day with another man.'”

Recently reflecting on twenty years of marriage, Rod said: “I’m stunned that Penny has kept me around for 20 years.
“They have not invented the words for how I feel about her. She is everything.”

“I had to show that I was genuine, show kindness, and it works.”
