This Morning host Phillip Schofield has opened up about taking Class B drug cannabis.
The TV veteran writes in his new book Phillip Schofield: Life’s What You Make It, that smoking weed has a negative effect on him.
Phillip, 58, writes: “Children’s presenters were expected to be squeaky clean.
“I couldn’t be bound by those restrictions.”
He added about cannabis: “On the rare occasions I’ve tried it, it has either made me sick, or made me feel like I have been darted with a tranquilliser.”
It’s not known where Phillip took the drug, though it is legal in some parts of the world including select States in America and Amsterdam.

Also in the book, Phil talks freely about his feud with Piers Morgan – admitting that the they didn’t speak for years after Phil felt “duped” by the former newspaper editor.
Phil claims that Morgan asked his manager for some memorabilia so he could write a series of articles on Phil.
However, the articles never came.
In reality, Morgan was penning an unofficial biography about Phil.

Phil, says he “was furious” by Morgan’s antics rather than the fact the book had been written.
He writes: “We didn’t speak for a long time. There were awkward moments: once, the two us were in a lift for what felt like an endless descent.”
The duo have now made and up and put the incident behind them.
A source recently claimed that Piers is in talks to replace David Walliams on Britain’s Got Talent.
The is said to add an “edge” to the show when it returns in 2021.
“Britain’s Got Talent is one of the few Saturday night shows which continues to shine and stay relevant,” an insider told The Sun.
“But all shows need refreshing, and Piers will certainly do that. He has been approached by two senior execs and, for his part, has said he would do it if the terms are right.
“He will give the show back its edge and provide those brilliant water cooler moments. He will revitalise the series.”
