Phillip Schofield cuts off Lisa Snowdon after This Morning technical mishap

This Morning turned awkward today as Phillip Schofield was forced to cut off Lisa Snowdon.

Lisa, who is a regular on the ITV show alongside Phil and Holly Willoughby, was presenting a fashion segment as non-essential shops open again to the public today.

However the model and presenter’s link wasn’t great – appearing seriously grainy.

Viewers couldn’t help but notice as they went online to blast the technical issue.

One asked: “Is she on dial up #thismorning.”

While another added: “What a fricking DREADFUL link! WHY?? #ThisMorning.”

A third chimed in: “F**king hell, someone give her a raise so she can get a decent camera.”

Phil was then forced to cut to interrupt Lis and cut the interview short before dialling back again.

He said: “We’re going to pause for a moment.

Since we’ve been doing this show in lockdown it hasn’t happened very often at all but we’ve got a really poor signal.

This happens to families up and down all the time. So we’re just going to dial Lisa back now.”

Luckily the picture was much clearer when they eventually got Lisa back on the phone.

Lisa’s fashion segment comes as fashion lover will be able to get back to shops today as they government have allowed non-essential stores to open again.

The shops will be opening with special measures in place though amid the coronavirus pandemic.

These will allow for social distancing to take place properly in stores still.

Many shops have seen a fall in sales as shoppers have had to stay away, so will welcome the return of customers.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am
