Pierce Brosnan has posted a heartfelt tribute to his daughter Charlotte on the seventh anniversary of her death.
The actor, 67, posted a snap, taken by his wife, Keely Shaye Smith, 56, at their home in Hawaii, on Instagram.
Seated on his porch, he wore a linen shirt, and in the caption, also wished his granddaughter Marley May a happy birthday.
Quoting a line from the 1942 film Casablanca, he wrote underneath the shot: “Here’s looking at you kid… In remembrance of Charlotte and with happy birthday wishes for my darling Marley May.”
Pierce lost his first wife, Cassandra, from ovarian cancer in 1991 and Charlotte, whom Pierce adopted after he married her mother, died of the same disease in 2013.
Charlotte was survived by her husband Alex and children Isabella and Lucas.
Piers married Cassandra on 27 December 1980 and they had one son together, Sean.
Sean, 36, and his producer wife Sanja Banic share young daughter, Marley May – whose middle name is Cassandra in tribute to her late grandmother.
In 1994, the former James Bond star met American journalist Keely Shaye Smith in Mexico – they married in 2001 in County Mayo, Ireland, and have two sons together, Dylan and Paris.
Pierce previously spoke about life in lockdown with his two youngest sons and wife in an interview with Parade Magazine.

“[Dylan] is a musician, so he writes his songs when he is not studying,” he said, discussing his family’s new lockdown routine.
“And my other boy is a surfer. We have the ocean on the doorstep, and days are spent reading, gardening, writing, catching up with friends and pushing on with projects.”
He also explained his wife Keely “tells me what to do,” adding: “I dig ditches for new plants, do the mulching. We do that together. It is a very simple life out there.”
