Piers Morgan has revealed he was caught speeding, but avoided getting fined or receiving any penalty points on his licence.
The 55-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter made the admission on social media, confirming he got busted for driving too fast.
Piers seemingly avoided the fine and penalty points as he was offered the option to take a speed awareness course online.
The courses are only an option for those caught speeding who haven’t been convicted of any other speeding offences in the past three years, and for the most minor violations.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday, the journalist told his 7.6m followers: “Just completed an online speed awareness course… on Zoom.”

Despite speeders avoiding getting penalty points for doing the course, they do have to pay for it, with the money sometimes the same price as a fine.
Fans flocked to his page to tease the opinionated presenter after his speeding confession.
One joked: “It’s a speed limit Piers, not a speed target.”
While another wrote: “That was fast.”

His GMB co-star Alex Beresford couldn’t resist making a dig at Piers, tweeting: “Did you race through it?”
Piers hasn’t been on Good Morning Britain for months as he’s enjoyed an extended summers break from the ITV morning show.
He is reportedly set to return with his co-star Susanna Reid next week.
They’re said to be finally coming back to the show next Tuesday, according to The Sun.

Daily Star Online has contacted ITV for comment.
Piers spent his break in St Tropez in the south of France, enjoying some sunshine away from the UK with his family.
Meanwhile, Susanna has seemingly stayed at home during having nearly two months off.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
