Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan ripped into Tory care minister Helen Whately on the show today.
Piers, 55, ranted as it was revealed coronavirus testing numbers had dropped in a week.
Helen had been GMB a week earlier, in an interview described as a “train wreck” because she didn’t appear to have correct figures on testing when asked by Susanna Reid’s co-star Piers.
And this week, Piers was fuming there had only been 18,000 new tests carried out yesterday, a fall on previous days.
After Health Minister Matt Hancock said the target was 100,000 per day by the end of April, Piers said he couldn’t see how this target would be met.

Fuming at Whately, he raged: “You’re going backwards, you see? You’re not doing them.
“You’re doing 18,000 a day which is less than what you were doing 12 days ago.”
Ms Whately admitted testing was vital and started talking about “ramping up” tests despite the fall in daily numbers.
However, an annoyed Piers shouted over her: “I down wanna hear about you ramping up though, with respect you’re not ramping it up.

“When you keep saying you’re ramping things up, you’re not, you’re going backwards.”
Talking about extending tests, he added: “You should have been doing this all weeks ago with respect.”
Piers also challenged the minister over the fact she didn’t “have the answers” to how many people had died in care homes.
He fumed raged: “You said this last week, you came back on this programme after what people thought was a train wreck interview, you still don’t know and say you’ll come back next week.
“At what point will you have an answer?”
