Piers Morgan says he's hosting GMB half-naked after 'request from Susanna Reid'

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan joked on Wednesday that he wasn’t wearing anything from the waist down.

He, co-host Susanna Reid and resident medic Dr Hilary Jones were talking about a Good Morning America interview from earlier this week when one interviewee wore just the top half of an outfit, unaware that his bare legs and underpants were on show on the video call.

Dr Hilary could be seen looking down at his own outfit, joking that he was “just checking”.

Though with Piers saying that Dr Hilary had become the “pandemic pin-up”, it seems he thinks viewers wouldn’t have minded a bit of flesh-flashing from the doc.

Susanna stood up to reveal her sapphire blue dress, proving that she had remember to get completely dressed.

But Piers sat firmly in his chair, announcing: “I won’t get up, I’m going commando today.”

Susanna jumped in, saying: “There’s an image no one wants in their mind.”

Piers continued: “I call it commando Wednesday, it’s a personal request from Susanna.”

Still sticking to the strict social distancing guidelines, Piers and Susanna spoke about the economy and how it will continued to be affected by Covid-19.

They also brought attention to the continued fundraising efforts from Captain Tom Moore, who is on the bring of £30million, and GMB favourite Harmonie-Rose, who has raised more than £45,000 for Meningitis Now.
