Piers Morgan and Edwina Currie shared a fiery on air moment during Tuesday’s Good Morning Britain as she slated the ITV hosts interviewing.
Morgan, 55, was asking the 73-year-old former politician what she thought of the government’s prediction that Covid-19 cases could hit 50,000 a day within a month.
However, Edwina was getting impatient with Piers’ lengthy questioning as she interrupted him: “Can I get in here?
“We have a limited amount of time, give me an opportunity to answer.”
Piers shot back: “We have as long Susanna and I decide you have.
“We can have two hours if you’re interesting enough.”

As Piers was asking her the question, Edwina interrupted yet again as she said “come on” while tapping her watch with her finger.
Piers was raging as he told her: “Edwina don’t be annoying. Seriously.
“I don’t know why you aways pride yourself in being irritating when you come on because there’s no point. Just wait for the question.
“The question is, where did they get that [50,000] from?”

When it was her turn to speak, Edwina said: “I’ll tell you what my prediction is, that in six months time we will be out of this. The six months was actually mentioned by the scientists yesterday.
“We’re talking about going right through the winter, it’s not just going to be a few days or a few weeks, it’s going right through the winter, until such time, we hope, as we actually have workable vaccines and millions of people vaccinated.
“So you can have me back on March 23rd, which will be the anniversary of lockdown in the UK, and lets see if I’m right.

We do have to plan to be extremely careful, between now and the spring.”
After the fiery interview, Piers said sarcastically to Edwina that it was nice to have her on the show.
Then Susanna grinned as she tapped her watch like Edwina had done in the interview.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
