Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has joked that he is worried his wife Celia Walden “wants to boil him alive in oil” after she interviewed Hillary Clinton, as she said that she “had thought about it”.
The TV host has hinted that his ten year marriage to Celia is not as smooth as it appears, as he joked with his followers on social media.
Sharing Celia’s weekend paper interview with the former presidential candidate on Instagram, he wrote: “Celia’s (excellent) interview with Hillary Clinton in tomorrow’s Telegraph magazine rather worryingly seems to focus on boiling husbands alive in oil.”
Fans quickly joined in on the joke, warning Piers to “be afraid” and “careful”, while another joked: “Take care Piers!”
One tagged Celia, asking: “Does Piers need boiling in oil? Lol!!!”

Another added: “You better sleep with one eye open Piers.”
Celia carried on the joke, as she hinted she had considered the act, saying: “‘Hard-boiled’, ‘cold’, ‘robotic’: the Hillary I interviewed was none of those things.
“Instead she was human, funny, curious, furious (about Trump) – and probably the only other woman I know who has fantasised about ‘boiling her husband in oil.”

Piers and Celia started dating in 2006, shortly after he separated from his wife Marion Shalloe, with whom he shares three son.
Celia and Piers got married in 2010, shortly after he started his judging stint on Britain’s Got Talent.
They also shared only daughter Elise, who is eight years old, and regularly makes appearances on Piers’ social media.

Piers also previously revealed that she has “no sympathy” for Piers having to get up at 3.30am to present GMB each morning.
Celia also spoke about how she believes she is the one who wears the trousers in their marriage.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain in May 2018 she responded to the question of whether she wore the trousers, saying: “Uhh yes, I think so!
“I think women are always quietly in charge, I just think it’s best to let the men think that they are.”
Meanwhile, Piers appears to have stepped back from his presenting duties on GMB, revealing he wasn’t going to be on the show on Thursday.
This year Piers announced that he would be on the show for four days a week during the coronavirus pandemic to help cover the lockdown news.
He will be back on air on Monday at 6am on ITV.
