Piers Morgan has come under fire from his own son following his recent admission about his post-coronavirus lockdown plans.
Rather than spending time with his loved ones, the father-of-four admitted he’s heading straight to the pub once the bug has passed.
On Tuesday’s Good Morning Britain, the 55-year-old chatted to the show’s medical expert Dr Hilary Jones on what they miss the most as Brits continue to adapt to life in lockdown.
He admitted that he misses the freedom of popping down to his local boozer, something that didn’t sit right with his eldest son Spencer.

During the discussion, Piers said: “I miss the spontaneity of being able to say, like that ‘shall we go to the pub?'”
Spencer, who was watching the show, didn’t take too kindly to the throwaway remark made by his famous father and quickly vented his frustration on social media.
He wrote: “When your dad hasn’t seen you in person in three months…cheers.”

But Piers was quick to comfort his son, and typed back: “Haha, sorry son, I definitely miss you too, and look forward to seeing you again….. after the pub.”
Elsewhere in the episode, the TV host sparked concern after he rocked up to the GMB studio and complained he had a rising temperature – a well-known symptom of coronavirus.
Speaking to co-host Susanna Reid, he said: “Do you know what, I actually feel quite hot and sweaty.”

While Susanna was anxious about Piers’ hot flush, he admitted it was nothing to do with Covid-19.
“It’s not a need to go to Dr. Hilary, it’s the pressure of doing my own make-up as the clock ticks.
“I start hearing ‘two minutes’, ’90 seconds’, ‘a minute’…”
