Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow writing brand new Take That music

On and off Take That member Robbie Williams has lifted the lid that he and Gary Barlow are collaborating and writing new music together.

The 46-year-old recently shocked the nation when he appeared alongside the other band members for an online concert during the coronavirus pandemic.

Rumours of new music began to swirl as flabbergasted fans couldn’t quite believe that Robbie had finally reunited with Gary, Mark Owen and Howard Donald.

The last time Robbie took to the stage with the group, prior to the digital performance, was during his stint as a judge on the X Factor final in 2018.

Lifting the lid on his secret partnership with Gary to write new songs for Take That, Robbie thrilled fans as he confirmed the band will “ride again”.

Speaking on Mark Wright’s Heart Evening Show, he said: “I’ve been writing some songs with Gary Barlow in the last few weeks too.

“Yeah, so, you know, we will ride again, me and my brothers.

“I don’t know when that’s going to be but we will ride again.”

Hardcore fans will be delighted with the news as it’s been over a decade since Robbie last featured on a Take That studio album.

His last appearance was on their sixth album Progress, that proved to be a massive hit with fans.

It is also unknown at this stage if Jason Orange will also reunite with the other four boy band members.

Jason decided to quit the band in 2014 and didn’t appear on their recent online gig either.

Following his swift exit from the band in 2014, speculation grew that there had been a fall out among band members but Jason later quashed any feud claims.

Speaking out about his reason for leaving, he said: “There have been no fallings out, only a decision on my part that I no longer wish to do this.”

Tune in to Mark Wright on Heart Monday to Thursdays from 7pm-10pm and Sundays from 12pm-4pm.
