Roy Chubby Brown fears going broke without any comedy gigs on the horizon.
The northern funnyman says he had been spending like crazy before lockdown.
And now he is worried his savings will run dry without the same level of income he had in the past.
Roy, 75, infamous for his distaste for political correctness, said: “I earned 50 grand last year so I’m not allowed to claim anything.
“Now, we’ve been off three months, it costs me at least £1,000-a-week to live with insurance and gas and petrol and wages and everything else.

“My savings are just going, if this happens another six months I’m going to be on my a**e, basically.
“We were living everyday like we were all superstars, we were buying things like clothes and going to fancy restaurants and all that.”
But the circuit veteran is more worried about the future of his seven-strong entourage who he cannot afford to pay.

Roy added: “I can’t complain, I’ve had my day. I have seven lads who work for me and I feel sorry for them because I can’t support them anymore, I can’t supply their wages.
“If I had they could have it but I haven’t got it.”
The gag merchant, whose real name Royston Vasey was used as an inspiration for the BBC’s The League of Gentlemen, also fears the future of the country is bleak.
Roy said: “This country is in the st isn’t it, be honest. We’re going to go bankrupt if we don’t go back to work.
“We’re not all Elton John and Rod Stewart and people like that, we haven’t all got money and resources, we’re all living hand-to-mouth now.”
