Television star Ruth Langsford has dished the dirt on her marriage to husband Eamonn Holmes.
The Loose Women host, 60, has revealed that she fancied her Irish hubby before she met him after watching him on the telly.
Speaking to Prima, Ruth explained: “Before I even met Eamonn, I was a big fan. I used to watch him on GMTV and I always thought he was handsome, funny and a brilliant journalist.
“It was nerve-wracking when I did meet him; I remember thinking, ‘Oh, my God, that’s Eamonn Holmes.'”
Ruth later went on to reveal that her and Eamonn still have “big rows” and get on each others nerves despite being together for over two decades.
The This Morning star said: “Having respect for each other is really important in a relationship.
“It’s nice to be a couple, but we are individual people.
“Eamonn and I can have big rows and argue, then 10 minutes later we’re laughing about something.
“We’ve been together 23 years so it has been a long and happy relationship but we have our moments.”

She added: “There are times when he really annoys me and I really annoy him and there are times when I think, ‘Get out of my face.’
“Obviously, you’re not always going to get on, but you have to make it work. Underneath it all, we know we have a strong relationship.”
Ruth revealed that Eamonn had planned to whisk her away earlier this year to mark a special birthday but their travel plans got scrapped due to the coronavirus pandemic.
She told the publication: “I was supposed to go to Italy in the summer for my 60th.
“My birthday was in March, but Eamonn has always said to me that when it’s a big birthday, you should celebrate all year.
“We were planning to go to Pompeii for a bit of culture, then to the Riviera, but it’s not the end of the world; we’ll do it another time.
“I’m just thankful that we’re all fine in my family.
“I think we’re all very lucky if we haven’t been touched in a bad way by the virus.
“The holiday would have been our first one without the kids.”
Ruth and Eamonn are set to return to our screens on Friday to present the latest edition of the ITV daytime show.
