Sharon Stone blasts non-mask wearers as sister 'fights for life' in Covid battle

Sharon Stone has blasted people who don’t wear masks as her sister Kelly Stone fights for her life after being diagnosed with coronavirus.

On Sunday 16 August, the Basic Instinct star shared several photographs on Instagram of her sister’s hospital room.

The harrowing photos showed a medical worker dressed in full PPE along with a yellow tube pumping oxygen in and out of the room.

Alongside the images, Sharon wrote a lengthy post, explaining her sibling only made one trip outside because she falls into the high-risk category due to her lupus condition.

Lupus is an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation to the joints, skins and other organs.

She began: “My sister Kelly, who already has lupus, now has Covid-19. This is her hospital room. One of the Non-Mask wearers did this.

“She does not have an immune system. The only place she went was the pharmacy.”

The actress explained that her sister resides in Montana, a US county where members of the public cannot get tested unless they are showing covid-19 symptoms.

Sharon added that once they obtain a test it then takes five days for them to receive their results.

She added: “Can you face this room alone? Wear a mask. For yourself and others. Please,” she added.

Sharon later posted a passionate and emotional video, stating that Kelly’s husband Bruce is also in the same ward, “fighting for his life” against coronavirus.

The mum-of-two opened up about her mother, who has had two heart attacks, five stents and a pacemaker within the last five months, wasn’t able to get a test, even though she could be asymptomatic.

“They keep saying that the risks are so small and that you might not die and it’ll be fine, but I’m telling you what’s going on with my family,” she added.

“My grandmother died of Covid and my godmother died of Covid. My sister and her husband are fighting for their lives and my sister is not doing well.”

She concluded her message by urging Americans followers to vote, showing her support for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
