Former Coronation Street actress and Loose Women star Sherrie Hewson has treated herself to a second face lift after one of the worst years of her life.
The actress, who also appeared in ITV show Benidorm, has revealed she splashed out on a ‘love handle facelift’ as she turns 70 next week.
Sherrie also said she’s had the procedure done after she was left ‘broken’ after her older brother Brett Hutchinson passed away in April.
The quick ‘love handle facelift’ procedure involves removing fat from around the person’s hips and stomach before mixing it with their blood to release stem cells.
This is then injected into the face to give results which last up to five years.

Sherrie, who played Maureen Webster on Corrie, admitted: “The LHF was a quick treatment and it’s given me such a boost. I feel like it’s rejuvenated my skin and restored all the volume – it’s natural looking with no cutting, and it was all done in under an hour.
“I had a facelift when I was 50 and I’ve had bits and bobs done throughout the years – a bit of botox and filler. But I haven’t had anything done for a long time now.
“But as I approached 70. I just thought, ‘What will I do for myself at this age?’ I thought I would give myself a last kind of boost so I can look in the mirror and think, ‘You’re not bad for your age.’

She added to the Sunday Mirror: “It’s to give myself a lift after all the stuff I have been through, particularly in the last 18 months.
“I need to give my self-confidence and self-worth a big kick up the a**e so can I feel good about myself and hold my head up high.”
Sherrie says she was left ‘broken’ after her brother passed away and was even more heartbroken she couldn’t visit him, due to coronavirus restrictions.
He died of a brain tumour and the shock of his passing has left Sherrie more determined to live life to the full than ever before.

She added: “I am still not very strong, I still have moments. Whenever I hear any Motown music, which he loved, I just cry. The pain is so terrible, my heart is broken.
“Now I look at my life and think, ‘Hang on a minute, what have I got, how long have I got?'”
The star, who lives alone, is even hoping her new-found confidence may help her find love.
She admitted: “Dating is harder as you get older – the older you get, the more you lack confidence. I sometimes look in the mirror and don’t know who that much older woman is.”
