X Factor star Sinitta Malone bravely opened up about a recent health scare this week, which left her unable to breathe.
The 56-year-old singer thanked her longtime friend Simon Cowell for his support, as she battled the mystery condition.
Sinitta admitted doctors had branded her as a “walking miracle” after surviving the unnamed illness.
Speaking to New! magazine, she said: “I had several blows to my physical and mental health and it set me back in a massive way. I was a walking disaster.
“I had a panic attack as a result of quite a traumatic situation that was so severe that everyone thought, including me, that I was having a heart attack.”

The ITV star decided against labelling the condition, adding that she “can’t go into it just yet”.
She added: “As soon as I am able to talk about it I will.”
With help from music mogul Simon, Sinitta received help from premium psychiatrists and psychologists, aiding her recovery.

She went on: “Simon as usual was incredible.
“He helped me get the best medical attention and I pulled through.”
Sinitta and Simon dated back in the early 80s, managing to maintain a strong friendship after their romance fizzled out.

With hit singles like So Macho under her belt, Simon invited her to appear on X Factor to assist in the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition back in 2004.
After that, she became a regular fixture in the show, helping to nurture major talents like Leona Lewis and Olly Murs.
Sinitta later joined The Xtra Factor as a host, presenting the spin-off series in its heyday, before its eventual axing in 2016.
