The 30-year-old television personality has taken to her Instagram Stories to share a snap of the cloudy weather as she admitted she is excited for the rain.

Addressing her 3.4 million followers, the former X Factor finalist began the lengthy message: “The sky here is full of heavy rain clouds.

“It is wired that I’m really excited for it to rain. Sometimes I feel a bit of relief wen it’s been warm and humid and then the rain comes.

“Like when you’ve been building up emotions inside you, not wanting to worry anyone with them and then you have a really good cry?

“I’m going to get the rain jackets out and try to take the boys on a long rainy walk in the woods.”

The mother of three continued: “I really hope you’re all ok. Look after yourself and don’t forget to remind yourself that you are more than enough.

“Even if your children have been wearing the same clothes for five days because you still haven’t put a load on.”

Adding some humour to her message, Stacey joked: “I really need to become friends with the washing machine again.”

It remains to be seen whether the plant will survive, although as an avid Instagram user, Stacey is sure to keep her fans updated with any news.

Stacey previously had more luck in the plant department as she transformed potted florals using spray paint and Sharpies.

With the help of her two eldest sons Zach, 12, and Leighton, eight, Stacey, who is also the mum of Rex, one, spray painted the pots white before drawing on smiley faces with Sharpies.
