Stacey Solomon has shared an emotional message with fans after heartbroken partner Joe Swash revealed his nan had died.

Loose Women star Stacey, 30, says the kind messages sent to Joe from fans after he said he couldn’t attend his nan’s funeral have “made a difference” to him.

Former EastEnders star Joe, 37, described his beloved Nanny Fran’s death as “excruciating and cruel” on Instagram yesterday as he told fans he was forced to miss the funeral.

Talking about fans reaching out to Joe, Stacey shared a video with son Rex as she wrote: “Good Morning. Laying here so blown away by all your kind messages.

“You honestly have no idea what they mean and how much they make a difference.”

“I wish I could have said goodbye. But I know you know how much we all love you and you’ll be watching down on us, looking after us forever more.”

Joe continued: “Thinking of all of those who have lost loved ones during this awful situation. Thinking of all of the people who weren’t able to be by their loved ones side. Those who won’t be able to say goodbye at their funerals…

“It’s excruciating. And cruel. Sending so much love your way.”

The news comes as Stacey told fans she was taking a break from social media yesterday for 24 hours after “sad” and “awful” days.
