Liz Hurley ‘s ex Steve Bing was found at the foot of the apartment building where he lived in Los Angeles after falling from the 27th floor in a suspected suicide on Monday.
The film producer and philanthropist shares a son, Damian Hurley, with his famous ex, and now the 18-year-old is reportedly set to become the wealthiest teenager on the planet.
Following his sudden passing, the 55-year-old leaves a £482million fortune, which could go to Damian, who recently celebrated his 18th birthday alongside his mother Liz at her country abode.
The actress took to Twitter after Steve’s death and said she shared “good, wonderful memories” with her former partner.

Steve and Liz began their 18-month relationship in 2000, but they broke up when she became pregnant with Damian.
The couple were at the centre of a high-profile paternity case after Bing cast doubt on whether he was the father, however, it was confirmed following DNA results that were revealed in 2002 at London’s High Court.
After the results, Bing said he would be “involved and responsible”, announcing he would pay £100,000 a month into a trust fund which Damian could access at 18.
However, Bing’s father Dr Peter Bing tried to prevent his son’s children, Damian as well as Kira Bonder from another relationship, as he didn’t consider them to be relations.

The affidavit stated: “I have never met Damian or Kira, and neither of them was raised by Stephen as part of his family.
“Even were Stephen to develop a relationship with Damian now, l would not consider him my grandchild. To the best of my knowledge, Stephen has never met Damian, and Stephen only met Kira after she became an adult.”
However last July, a Los Angeles judge ruled that Damian and Kira were beneficiaries of the family trust.
Judge Daniel Juarez turned down Dr Bing’s attempts to claim the term “grandchild” needed clarification.
The ruling stated: “There is no ambiguity in the Trusts’ use of the term ‘grandchild’.”
On Tuesday morning, Hurley penned a touching tribute to Bing and said the pair had been on good terms in recent times.
“I am saddened beyond belief that my ex Steve is no longer with us. It is a terrible end,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Our time together was very happy and I’m posting these pictures because although we went through some tough times, it’s the good, wonderful memories of a sweet, kind man that matter.
“In the past year we had become close again. We last spoke on our son’s 18th birthday. This is devastating news and I thank everyone for their lovely messages.”
Damien also shared a message on the photo-sharing app, and said he was “devastated” by his father’s untimely passing.
He wrote: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that has reached out following the devastating news. I’m trying to reply to as many of you as I can, but please know I will always remember your kindness.
“This is a very strange and confusing time and I’m immensely grateful to be surrounded by my phenomenal family and friends.”
