Strictly's James Jordan is unrecognisable with long hair in cute Ella snap

Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan sent his fans with their jaws on the floor as he showed off a dramatic transformation on social media.

James, 42, became a dad for the first time as his wife Ola welcomed a little girl named Ella earlier this year.

But it looks like fatherhood may have taken a toll on James as he showed off a completely different look as he cradled his daughter.

James posed for a picture while looking very tired as Ella cuddled into his chest, but it was his new hair that stole the show.

The dancer, who normally rocks much shorter hair and a more groomed appearance, was seen with wild, long hair which went in all directions, plus an unkempt beard.

He cheekily captioned the snap: “Anyone that says ‘Having a baby doesn’t age you’ is lying. #Fatherhood#wouldntchangeitfortheworld.”

His fans quickly rushed to the post to share their shock at the new look, with some totally stunned by the new dad’s drastically changing appearance.

One follower wrote: “I think it’s the hair not the baby lol.”

Another added: “That hair is ageing you lol don’t blame Ella!”

A third chipped in: “James you need to get a hair cut and go back to that smart man we loved on dancing on ice , but still love the photo of you both !!!”

A fourth swiped: “”Good lord man, cut your hair.”

James and Ola became parents for the first time after opening up about their fertility struggles, which saw them resort to IVF.

Ola was warned that she only had a 50% chance of conceiving a baby but luckily the dancer got pregnant after her first round of treatment in June last year.

James later opened up about his regret about leaving it later in life to have children so he could focus on his career, telling The Sun: “We have a beautiful baby and we are over the moon. If we had missed the boat I would be devastated.”

“We have always focused on our careers, making money, having a nice house and car, but I’ve always been a saver. Neither of us are big spenders.

“I now feel like all the material things are not important.”
