Good Morning Britain beauty Susanna Reid has recalled the time Hollywood superstar Bradley Cooper asked her out on a date love on air.
The television presenter, 49, has reminisced about the surreal moment in her Daily Mail column where she explained how he’d been speaking to The Hangover actor in a live segment while co-hosting BBC Breakfast.
The GMB star penned: “Actor Bradley Cooper is coping with his out-of-control lockdown locks by wearing his daughter’s pink hairband, but I know he has a good head of hair from interviewing him on BBC Breakfast.
“I got the shock of my life when, live on air, he asked me out.”
Susanna added that the heartthrob had invited her along to the BAFTAs, but her awkward responses meant he never followed the offer up.

She said: “Bradley said he would be taking his mum to the Oscars, but had a ‘plus one’ for the BAFTA awards. Would I like to join him?
“He promised to get me back to Manchester early for viewers the next day.
“‘That would be hilarious,” I replied, losing my cool.
“The joke was on me, of course, because he never followed it up, so I didn’t get to wear my best hairband for the occasion.””

Of course, Susanna has since moved to ITV breakfast show Good Morning Britain and has gone on to interview many big names.
She has more recently found herself having a right laugh with two unlikely stars.
Last week, Britain’s oldest identical twins Doris Hobday and Lil Cox, both 95, Mae a cheeky appearance on Good Morning Britain, instantly winning over Susanna and her co-host Piers Morgan.
During the segment, the twins joked that the secret to a long life was “plenty of sex”, while Lil also revealed she has a not-so-secret crush on Jason Statham.

Piers, 55, asked: “I heard I have a love rival – you’re rather hot on him?”
Lil responded: “One night with him and I’ll die happy!”
Susanna could be heard howling with laughter with the cheeky response as the two women burst out into fits of giggles.
Susanna was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2009 until 2014 and she has since been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain.
She is currently taking a break from GMB this week, as is co-host Piers Morgan while Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins fill in for the pair.
