Singing songstress Taylor Swift has made one young girl’s dreams come true after she donated a jaw dropping £23,000 towards her university education.
The 18-year-old who currently lives in Tottenham, had tried everything within her power to be eligible to further her mathematics studies in UK.
But, due to migrating from Portugal and her family having a low income, it somehow seemed significantly out of her reach.
After relentlessly trying to find a loophole in the system – for someone to desperately help with her educational funds – she decided to air her story and started up a Go Fund Me page as a final resort.
Victoria set out with a goal of raising £40,000, estimating that she would need £24,000 for accommodation, £3,000 for equipment and £13,000 for living costs.

In the lengthy statement on her fundraiser, Victoria also vocalised her struggles as a black female showcasing that the odds were seemingly stacked against her.
She wrote: “I am currently a student at Brampton Manor Academy, notorious for their work in helping young Black and minority ethnic students such as myself gain entry to top UK institutions.
“Only 35% of STEM students are female, and as of 2018, they make up just 26% of STEM graduates. In addition to the gender imbalance, there is further under-representation of BAME women, particularly black women, who are in shortage within the field and academic institutions.”
Despite raising a significant amount of money, to aid with her hopes of becoming a mathematician, she was still had a long way to go before reaching her goal.
That is until generous Taylor Swift stumbled across her “inspirational” profile and decided to give her a huge cash injection, taking her to her target.
After reading Victoria’s devotion and her intense passion to not give up on her dreams, the I Knew You Were Trouble singer decided to weigh-in to help her get across the line with her studies.

Taylor said: “Vitoria, I came across your story online and am so inspired by your drive and dedication to turning your dreams into reality.
Topping up her funds with £23,000, she added: “I want to gift you the rest of your goal amount. Good luck with everything you do! Love, Taylor.”
A flabbergasted Victoria could barely believe her eyes, when she woke to see that she had achieved everything she had set out to.
The North London teen said: “My mind has been blown. I was wondering how to reach enough people to hit my goal and now this miracle has happened.
“I’m just over the moon. I got 1A and 2A*s in my exam results recently and this is just a huge cherry on the cake!”
