Fans have rushed to the aid of This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in their war of words with Lady Colin Campbell.
The telly toff branded Phil a “total jerk and nasty piece of work” and accused Holly of playing a “dumb blonde” following a bitter run-in on the show last week.
But supporters of telly’s golden couple defended them in the wake of the row.
Sophie Gardner tweeted: “She was being unreasonable and aggressive towards Holly.”
And Jordon Lee said: “Good on Holly Willoughby for pointing out Lady C’s new book about Prince Harry and Meghan hasn’t been verified.”

Phil, 58, had blasted Lady C’s “tawdry and undignified” new book on the former royals and questioned her credentials as a royal insider.
But in a furious outburst on her YouTube channel she blasted the pair.
Lady C, 70, said: “The reason I think why Phillip Schofield dislikes me so much is I think he doesn’t like strong women. Holly came across as a right dumbo, but I gather it’s an act, that she just plays the dumb blonde.”
Holly, 39, and Phillip declined to comment last night.

Phillip was branded as “ignorant” by Lady C on June 23’s show, as they discussed her royal biographies.
Lady C appeared on the show to discuss her new book, Meghan and Harry: The Real Story, which was released earlier this month.
However, as soon as Lady C joined the show via video call, tensions started to rise in the ITV studios.

Phillip wondered how Lady C gained access to royal informants after her controversial biography about Diana, released in the early 90s.
The royal expert snapped: “That shows how ignorant you are if I may point out.”
She added: “My Diana biography was the most believable of all the biographies.”
Getting his own back, Phil called Lady C a “gossip,” as he quizzed her about the story behind her new book about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Claiming to be a private person, Lady C said: “I do not leak like a sieve, I am not a Meghan or a Harry.”
Phil retorted: “But you are a gossip?”
Lady C replied: “Not when it suits me. If you had any respect for the truth you would be able to appreciate that.”
