This Morning pivoted away from baking recipes and Alison Hammond’s home hacks for a slightly saucier segment on Friday, as the conversation turned to “online porn”.
Hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes were joined by exotic dancer Nikole Mitchell on the show, who left her life as a pastor behind to pursue a career on OnlyFans.
The US model grew up in a strict Baptist family, only to realise later in life she identified as bisexual, with her sexual discovery conflicting with her life in the church.
Having embraced her true identity, Nikole now works as an exotic dancer on the adult subscription site OnlyFans, sharing content ranging from graphic videos to bikini pics.
The 36-year-old appeared on the daytime TV show to discuss her unusual career change, as ITV shared a reel of saucy photos from her portfolio.
Ahead of her appearance on the show, Eamonn urged prior guest Olly Murs to stay tuned for some “online porn” – leaving a few viewers flustered.
Eamonn asked: “Olly, are you on your own this morning? Just want to know if you’re in the house on your own?”
When Olly confirmed he was alone, Eamonn then answered: “That’s good, because we’ve got online porn next. Just in case there was anyone watching over your shoulder or anything.”
Nikole joined Eamonn and Ruth via video call from her home in Orange County, as she discussed everything from her exit from the church to her children’s attitude to her work.
Referring to the time difference between the UK and the US, Eamonn asked: “Has it been a working evening for you tonight?”
She replied: “It has, it has been a mixture of pleasure and business. I spent some time with a friend tonight and then got work done before joining you all here.”
Wanting to know more about her trade, Ruth asked: “So your work tonight would have been taking erotic photos, and then uploading them onto your website. This is a website that people then pay to view?”

Nikole explained her working day can vary, as she spends some time creating X-rated content, while also communicating with her subscribers.
She said: “Yes, uploading those photos and videos, and its also contacting them and messaging them.
“It’s a little community we build where they can get to know me in ways that they can’t on social media, and it’s a really amazing space.”
The former pastor also explained why she decided to leave the church, saying: “The fullness of who I was was no longer welcome.

“I had these desires to express myself in ways I’d never been able to.”
Meanwhile, over on Twitter, viewers were a little surprised by the segment, as it veered from This Morning’s generally wholesome day-to-day content.
One penned: “‘I used to be a pastor, now I’m a stripper’. You go girl.”
However, a second grumpy fan disagreed, and fumed: “Why is This Morning promoting a stripper website? New depths.”
“I feel sorry for the ‘pastor turned stripper,’ as they seem to be belittling her,” added a third.
This Morning airs on weekdays at 10am on ITV.
