This Morning ‘s Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were left concerned for an emotional viewer on Wednesday.

Lucky caller Jan from South Wales correctly answered the passphrase and got the chance to play Spin To Win during the latest version of the ITV daytime show.

Host Phil, 57, spun the famous wheel and an excited Jan won a whooping £1,000.

Clearly a fan of the show, Jan answered the supplementary question correctly to win a bag of This Morning goodies including a jigsaw and a candle.

Presenter Holly, 39, congratulated Jan but the contestant broke down in tears of happiness before the end of the conversation.

Things got off to a tricky start for Phil and Holy this morning as co-star Alison Hammond made a shock Halloween confession.

The dynamic duo were on hand to offer the latest news from across the world

The bubbly Brummy made an error with the tradition of Trick or Treating and her colleagues couldn’t believe she’d been making the mistake for years.

Alison had said the tradition was called Treacle Treat, with Phillip asking her in shock what her holiday celebration was.

Seeing his co-star was confused, the host said: “It’s not treacle – it’s Trick or Treat,” to which the presenter was blown away.

“No way. Are you serious? I thought it was Treacle Treat. I’m 45 years old and I never knew that,” she said.

“You went around to people’s houses with treacle?” Phillip asked, to which Alison admitted she never celebrated Halloween.

“Well, you’re the perfect person to do this item then,” Holy quipped as her co-star was seen dressed in a witches costume.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am
