This Morning bosses were left scrambling to reschedule today’s programme itinerary after roving reporter Josie Gibson vanished part way through the show.
The former Big Brother winner was due to host a segment live from a steam train on Friday’s programme.
However, in a twist which left stand-in hosts Dermot O’Leary and Rochelle Humes baffled, Josie went missing.
As the camera cut from the This Morning studio to the live train station Josie was nowhere to be seen and the platform was empty.
Playing for time, former chart-topper Rochelle gigged: “Erm we have had a bit of a problem.

“We don’t know where Jodie has gone.
“She has lost the train somehow.”
Shocked, Dermott added: “She can’t have gone far… where is she?”

Producers were left to cut to the next segment of the show due to the awkward TV fail.
Earlier in the programme Dermot and Rochelle announced that I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2020 will take place in the UK.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, bosses have decided not to take the gamble and try and fly cast and crew to the Australian coast as usual.
Instead the series will take place in a ruined countryside castle – they stopped short of saying where in the UK it will take place.

Directly responding to reports ITV had considered Scotland, Rochelle said: “I doubt Scotland as it’s quite dark…
“What part of the UK. Maybe it will be in Cornwall. Maybe it will be in a Cornwall castle.”
Dermott added: “We have been told to expect a ghost or two.
“It will be a whole different world for friends and family going out.”
Laughing, Rochelle continued: “The family are normally hanging out in the Versace hotel… but not this time.
“They will change it for wherever they are, no more kangaroo to eat… maybe a cow’s bits?”
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am
