Helen Skelton has revealed in a candid post the “lucky escape” she had while filming her Channel 5 show this week.
The 37-year-old, who hosts the show This Week on The Farm, took to her official Instagram account to share a candid message with her 195,000 followers.
Sharing snaps of herself with a tiny – and rather adorable – baby goat the presenter admitted it nearly ended very badly while filming the segment with the animal.
Speaking to her fans, Helen opened up on how she just missed and had a “lucky escape” after she avoided the little fella having a messy encounter at her expense.

Alongside a series of snaps she shared, in one of them Helen can be seen sitting on a hay bale as the naughty little goat climbs over her shoulders.
In two more of the photos she smiles from ear-to-ear as she poses with the farm animal.
But taking to the caption, Helen admitted the sweet moment very nearly went wrong for her as she worried the goat would “do its business down her back”.
She wrote in the caption of the photographs: “Insta versus reality…..not sure how, but no goat did any of its business down my back during this.

Helen’s Countryfile co-star Matt Baker was one of her followers to comment on her funny little story.
the star simply wrote: “Love it,” alongside a red heart emoji.
Another fan joked: “No kidding Helen! (Sorry! somebody had to say it!).”

“Who doesn’t need a goat bottom by their ear…” commented another follower.
One fan commented: “I have always loved little baby goats.”
The funny moment took place when Helen and her co-star Jules Hudson, 50, caught up with farmers Rob and Dave on the latest episode of the show.
In the latest episode in the pair got an insight into the farmers’ goat playground creation.
Discussing the event, Helen asked if any of the goats stood out from the herd.
He replied: “They’re all characters really, they’ve got a unique personality, we really love them.”
