Vernon Kay has joked about rumours doing the rounds, which suggest he will be appearing on the 20th series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! later this year.
The 46-year-old presenter was recently snapped arriving for a photoshoot along with a bunch of other celebrities, which has raised some eyebrows, with fans wondering whether he’ll be a part of the show’s lineup.
The ITV hit show, which is set to kick off in November, keeps its star-studded lineup under wraps until just before the show’s launch, so it’s uncertain whether or not the rumours are true.
Vernon hasn’t been giving away any clues, however, and has even been giving fans cheeky replies when they’ve asked him whether or not he is heading to Gwyrch Castle in North Wales for the reality competition show.
After sharing a snap of the hit film Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta, Vernon penned: “Hurry home @tessdaly it’s disco Saturday!! @bbcstrictly looking,” alongside a fireworks emoji.
But one curious fan – who has clearly kept up to date with the IAC rumours – wrote: “Aren’t you meant to be in a castle now Vernon?”
To which the funny telly host responded: “Don’t what you mean…” alongside a beer emoji.
It comes just a day after Vernon was spotted heading into a west London studio for what was alleged to be a promotional photoshoot for the hit ITV series.
Among those in attendance, he was spied arriving alongside stars such as Russell Watson, EastEnders star Jessica Plummer, and AJ Pritchard.
It’s alleged they were brought together for their first photoshoot in their new I’m A Celebrity costumes before the new series hits TV next month.
Also pictured at the shoot was Victoria Derbyshire, Paralympian Hollie Arnold, actress Ruthie Henshall, and Corrie’s Beverley Callard.
The contestants of this year’s series will have to self isolate for two weeks before taking part in the series at Gwyrch Castle.
IAC bosses have been fighting to get the show on-air despite a raft of new Covid restrictions in Wales.
Further travel chaos was inflicted when the Welsh government decided to close the borders to tourists earlier this month following an increase in the number of positive coronavirus cases.
Daily Star Online has approached Vernon’s representatives and ITV for comment.
