British songstress Mica Paris has claimed that singing legend Whitney Houston hit on her when she was 19 years old.
Mica, now 51, claimed Whitney who passed away aged 48 on February 11 2012, claimed a flirty encounter took place over 30 years ago when she joined Whitney and her entourage for dinner.
Mica reportedly socialised with the mega star and her crew after they both performed together at a gig.
Paris claimed Whitney played “footsie” with her under the table, leaving her unsure how to respond to the “sweet” singer’s alleged advances.
Mica spoke about the alleged incident on Martin and Roman Kemp’s new weekend morning TV show, Martin & Roman’s Sunday Best!.
Mica claimed to the father and son presenting duo: “This massive limousine comes along and we’re all like looking out and it’s… Whitney!
“She comes out with about seven or eight bodyguards, walks in and is so sweet, humble, just beautiful.
“[We] did our performances, and she said ‘why don’t you come for dinner with us. So we went for dinner.”
Delving into the alleged incident further, Mica continued: “I was around the dinner table, she started playing footsie with me under the table, like literally, and I’m from South London at that time, I was 19, I didn’t really know about that kind of thing, the footsie I thing.”
“Then my make-up guy said to me, [whispering] ‘she fancies you’. I was like ‘what? nah’.”
It was claimed in 2016 that Whitney was bisexual and that she kept a romantic relationship with Robyn Crawford secret from her mum, Cissy.
Whitney’s ex-husband Bobby Brown previously told Us Weekly magazine: “I really feel that if Robyn was accepted into Whitney’s life, Whitney would still be alive today. She didn’t have close friends with her anymore.”
Cissy wrote about her dislike for Robyn in 2013 book, Remembering Whitney.
Cissy was asked during an appearance on Oprah if she would have been bothered if Whitney was gay.
The singer’s mum replied: “Absolutely.”
Oprah asked: “You wouldn’t have condoned it?”
Cissy responded: “Not at all.”
