The former host of ‘Chelsea Lately’, whose memoir ‘Life Will Be the Death of Me’ is being developed into a series, last taped her stage event, ‘Uganda Be Kidding Me: Live’, in 2014 for a Netflix release.

AceShowbiz – Comedian and actress Chelsea Handler is set to front her first stand-up special in six years as part of a new HBO Max special.

The event will be her first taped stage event since the release of “Uganda Be Kidding Me: Live” in 2014 on Netflix. The news comes following reports that her memoir “Life Will Be the Death of Me” is being developed into a series at Universal Television.

Handler previously fronted the Netflix release “Hello, Privilege. It’s Me, Chelsea” last year (19) as well as a talk show for the streaming service. She also previously hosted E!’s late night show “Chelsea Lately” for seven years before the run ended in 2014.
