Presenter Aled Jones has publicly announced that his Twitter was “hacked” after a rather raunchy photo was allegedly posted to his Fleets account, showing off a man in his boxers.
A rude photo was posted to the Welsh singer Fleets feed, a part of Twitter that allows users to share content for 24 hours – like an Instagram story.
Fans of the Songs of Praise host realised that a now-removed photo had been sent from the singer’s account on Sunday.
According to fans’ tweets, the photo apparently showed a man in his boxer shorts trying to show off the bulge that was underneath.
The 50-year-old explained to his followers that this was down to him being hacked.
The TV star backed himself by declaring he was at home with his mother-in-law when the image was posted.
He also shared with fans that he has now ramped up his online security by changing his password while telling his followers that he had “never heard” of Fleets.
The father-of-two tweeted: “I’ve been hacked sorry everyone! Jeez xxx.”
In a second tweet he said: “So sorry I don’t know what Fleets is – never heard of it!”
Following this, he wrote: “All back to normal – passwords changed – that was an interesting 20 mins – especially when I’m watching John Wick with the mother in law!”
Fans of the star flocked in to show their support on social media and reached out to the rather red-faced singer.

One fan said: “I already thought so… It’s so sad that people do that. Good luck Aled!”
In a bid to help a second replied: “Don’t forget to enable two-factor authorisation and use a password manager!”
He finally concluded the segment by saying: “Thanks for your lovely messages sleep well everyone!”
But some fans weren’t so sure and were convinced the former choir star had accidentally posted it himself.
One fan tweeted: “Schlongs of Praise. I’d watch it.”
A second penned: “Own it Aled,” followed by the eggplant emoji.
Another wrote: “Oh honey. How backward do you think we are?”
During his childhood, Aled was a choir singer and he started doing that from just nine years old and became a lead soloist within two years.
The Welsh-born star first rose to fame in 1985 when he released a cover of the song Walking in the Air, which climbed to No5 in the UK singles chart.
Alongside his singing career, he is also an established TV and radio presenter, having worked on Classic FM, as well as hosting shows on BBC Radio 2 and Radio 3.
