This Morning fans were less than impressed after Alison Hammond abruptly shut down Carole Baskin’s husband Howard Baskin during an on air interview.
Viewers, who had enjoyed listening the discussion, were left fuming after Alison abruptly ended the chat saying: “We’ve run out of time sorry,” cutting Howard off mid conversation.
Fans blasted the swift ending as “abysmal” and “rude” as they took to twitter to pen their frustrations.
“That was rude, husband just got his into it #thismorning,” read one tweet.
Another wrote: “Abysmal way to end the great interview. #ThisMorning.”
A third added: “What a shame to cut off the Baskins. A really interesting interview and for once, there was no talking over them. #ThisMorning.”
While a forth said: “Alison cutting off Carole Baskin because they ran out of time #ThisMorning.”

In spite of the swift ending, both Alison and Dermot did apologise to the Baskin’s for running thin of time.
During the interview, Carole spoke about her life after the bombshell Netflix hit Tiger King that had taken the world by storm.

Now that the cat fanatic was such a big household name, Alison was keen to know if there had been one particular question that always cropped up from her adoring admirers.
Carole smiled at the TV host and added: “Can I have a selfie.”
The Big Cat Rescue founder explained that she was often mobbed by fans but some instances had left her “in fear”.
She then explained to maintain safety she now requests for those wanting pictures with her to remain a safe distance.
“I now ask for fans to remain eight feet apart,” she explained.
