I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is back, and along with it are Britain’s favourite Geordie double act: Ant and Dec.
At least one member of the comedy duo has hosted every single series of the long-running reality show, with only the 18th series not delivered by both members while Ant took some time off from TV.
Dec was joined by veteran This Morning host Holly Willoughby for the series.
Ant and Dec first made the country laugh when they began appearing on Byker Grove in 1989 (for a reported £100 a day) and have never really stopped since.
Since then they have gone on to anchor some of the nation’s best-loved TV in careers that have spanned over three decades, and so it comes as no surprise duo have raked in some serious cash.
What is Ant McPartlin’s net worth?
Forty-six-year-old Ant , who has a reported net worth of £20 million, has had to overcome some well documented personal issues yet has returned strongly and remains 50% of the nation’s favourite presenting double act.
His former company Teecourt, which was dissolved in October of last year, had had the £20 million in its coffers before it was axed.
It is thought the funny pair used to be worth a jaw-dropping £124 million, the Star reported in February earlier this year.
However this number is understood to have dropped considerably when Ant had to pay an eye-watering £31 million to his ex, in what is said to be the biggest divorce settlement involving a UK celebrity.
What is Declan Donnelly’s net worth?
Dec, 46, was reported in July by the Daily Mail to have reached his highest personal net worth peak yet, with around £27.5 million.
He also has his own production company, Deecourt, the opposite number to McPartlin’s now dissolved Teecourt, which the Mail reported to have been pulling some £2,255 per day as of July last year.
According to financial reports in 2020, the company’s exact worth was £27,523,787, an almost one million pound increase on the previous year.
What are Ant and Dec paid for I’m A Celebrity?
Despite some setbacks, the pair’s wealth only seems set to increase. The Sun has reported that last year the pair signed a three-year-long £40 million deal that would secure their services for I’m A Celeb, Britain’s Got Talent, Saturday Night Takeaway and Ant and Dec’s DNA Journey.
The pair also run two companies together: production company Mitre and a promotion firm called Hurley, which is said to be named after Ant’s dog.
It is also thought the pair have some £10 million tied up in property, despite losing £2.5 million when a Algarve luxury apartment development the pair had invested in collapsed. The duo, along with fellow ITV favourite Phillip Schofield, are thought to have lost a combined £7.5 million, the Sun reports.
I’m A Celebrity airs nightly on ITV at 9pm
