Armie Hammer has officially been dropped by his acting agency WME.
The Rebecca actor’s career was going from strength to strength following a series of critically successful films.
But following a series of allegations of abuse from several women – which have not been proven true – claiming he’d sent them disturbing messages, Armie is gradually being blacklisted by the film industry.
Sources told The Hollywood Reported that Armie’s personal publicist has also left the actor’s employ.
Last week, the actor stepped back from new Paramount series The Offer, a story focusing on the making of Hollywood trilogy giant The Godfather.

Not long prior to that, Armie was forced to resign from Jennifer Lopez’s latest action romantic comedy, a Lionsgate film called Shotgun.
Josh Duhamel replaced him in the movie, which is also produced by the Waiting For Tonight superstar.
The Man From UNCLE star has vigorously denied the allegations, but admitted the current storm has taken its toll on his family.

In a statement following his exit from the romantic comedy, he said: “I’m not responding to these bulls**t claims.
“But in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic.
“Lionsgate is supporting me in this, and I’m grateful to them for that.”

The situation developed when a woman on Instagram, using the handle @houseofeffie, claiming she’d had an affair with the actor, shared a series of messages to her Instagram account.
The woman claimed the messages were sent to her from Armie, and they contained graphic and aggressive descriptions of sexual fantasies.
They included cannibalism and references to abuse, and following the initial post several other women have come forward and claimed they received similar messages from the actor.
All of the messages are as yet unverified and the actor hasn’t made further comment since his initial statement.
Four days ago, Armie’s ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers whom he was married to for a decade, said she was “devastated and heartbroken” by the allegations, adding: “I didn’t realise how much I didn’t know.
“I support any victim of assault or abuse and urge anyone who has experienced this pain to seek the help she or he needs to heal.”
