Ben Shephard left Tipping Point fans in hysterics on Tuesday’s show when he accidentally came out with a comment that sounded very X-rated indeed.
Tuesday’s episode of the ITV quiz show saw four new contestants walk into the studio to test out their general knowledge.
Players Rob, Leah, Steven and Sally were ready to try their luck at the famous coin-pushing machine to take home a hefty cash prize.
However, they certainly weren’t prepared for presenter Ben Shephard to surprise them with a saucy sexual innuendo – that he didn’t mean to come out with.
In round one, data protection officer Leah was up against the arcade machine in a desperate bid to bag herself some counters – needing to bank some cash as she was in last place.
The player from Cheltenham opted for drop zone 3, and Ben excitedly took to commentating as the counter rolled through the machine onto the shelf.
“Could be good!”, Ben said.
Sadly, though, she couldn’t push any counters off of the shelf, and Ben was left gutted as he called out: “Oh look at that! Agonisingly close.”
“Look at how far over that mystery is”, as Leah agreed, replying: “dangling on in there,”
Ben then came out with an extremely racy-sounding comment when he said: “That’s a well-hung shelf in there now.”
Eagle eyed ITV viewers never miss a beat, though, and many of them rushed to Twitter to laugh at Ben’s accidental innuendo.
One fan wrote: “Well hung shelf.” and attached a cheeky snap to suggest they knew that it sounded sexy.
A second quipped: “Well hung shelf, Ben?!” with a shocked-looking photo to highlight they were in on the joke.

A third commented: “Well hung again”, as this isn’t the first time Ben has amused viewers with the phrase.
Sadly for Leah, she didn’t manage to secure any money and was kicked off of the show at the end of the first round, as she finished with the lowest score.
Sally was next to be sent packing at the end of round two, which led to a tense head-to-head in the third round between Rob and Steven.
Rob got the better of Steven, though, and although he wasn’t able to clip the £10k jackpot counter, he decided to walk away with £2800 for him and his family to enjoy.
Tipping Point airs weekdays at 4pm on ITV
