Davina McCall, Rylan Clark-Neal and former Big Brother contestants have paid tribute following the news that reality star Nikki Grahame has died at the age of 38.
Fans, family and friends recently more than £65,000 to start for life-saving care for the reality star last month after she checked into a private hospital to treat her eating disorder.
However, the tragic news of her death was confirmed in a statement shared on her GoFundMe page on Saturday.
Big Brother fans have rushed to their keyboards to pay tribute to the bubbly character on social media following her sad death.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Devastating news about Nikki Grahame.”
Another added: “Poor poor Nikki Grahame. I am absolutely heartbroken.”
A third person posted: “Omg nooo I’m so shocked and saddened by this! RIP Nikki.”
“Heartbreaking to hear Nikki Grahame has passed. She certainly made a lasting impact on our culture,” a fourth social media user penned.
Former Big Brother host Davina lead the celebrities tributes to the star on social media.
The TV presenter penned: “I am so desperately sad to hear about Nikki Graham x my thoughts are with her friends and family xx she really was the funniest , most bubbly sweetest girl x”
Rylan, who presented Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, wrote: “Thinking of Susan and Nikki’s close friends and family. A Big Brother Icon x.”
Former BB housemate Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, who also appeared on the seventh series of Big Brother, shared a picture of Nikki, alongside the caption: “I can’t breath [sic].”
Big Brother star Mark Byron added: “Most awful news about Nikki Graham. Really heartbreaking, she genuinely is an icon and I’m unbelievably blessed to have been lucky enough to work with her over the years. She lead the way for all of us BB housemates.”
A statement confirming Nikki’s passing read: “It is with great sadness, we have to let you know that our dear friend Nikki passed away in the early hours of Friday 9th April.
“It breaks our hearts to know that someone who is so precious was taken from us at such a young age.
“Nikki not only touched the lives of millions of people, but also her friends and family who will miss her immensely.
“We would like to request privacy at this difficult time, while Nikki’s friends and family process the sad news.
“Full details will be released as and when we know them.”
It continued: “All donations have been greatly appreciated and it was heartwarming for everyone including Nikki to see how much she was loved.”
Nikki’s mother Sue recently appeared on ITV magazine show This Morning.

She explained that her daughter’s health battle was sparked when gyms closed during lockdown as the star dreaded eating if she couldn’t exercise.
She said: “With Covid, it sounds crazy but stuff like gyms closing impacted her.
“In order for her to eat she needs to know she can exercise, so when they closed it was quite a worry, the isolation as well.
“I asked her if she would come and stay with me but she said she needs to be in her home.”
