Pete Bennett has launched a new dig at Imogen Thomas following their fallout over mutual friend Nikki Grahame who tragically passed away earlier this month.
The former Big Brother star, 39, took to social media to claim that Imogen ‘ruined his day’ after she accused Pete of ‘cruelly betraying’ the memory of their friend by sharing her final text message online.
The reality TV star also faced backlash for posting a ‘haunting’ photo of Nikki to his Instagram.
Nikki, who was a Big Brother sensation, sadly passed away at the age of 38, just one day after being discharged from hospital after a three week stay amid her anorexia battle.
Following Nikki’s tragic death, Pete made the decision to share the final text exchange between the former couple.
Sharing the message with Heat magazine, it read: “Hey Petie, all good my end. Starting a clinic on Monday, which is all good.”
After Pete shared the text message with the media, Imogen launched a furious attack on the star and accused him of ‘cashing in’ on her friend’s tragic death.
Pete then took to social media to hit back at Imogen.
However, he later deleted the messages and apologised for ‘panicking’.
Taking to Instagram, Pete said that he was sorry, but he also claimed that Imogen had ‘ruined his day’.
“Sorry for putting up the voice notes earlier I was just trying to deflect any negativity to show… but I did it wrong,” he told.
“I was in a panicked state. I was in a real panic. I was. I had a horrible day.
“Imogen f****ed my day up. I was having a nice day.
“The next thing I know I’m getting all this hatred all these horrible comments.”
The star went on: “I’m sorry I put the voice notes up. I was in a frenzy of panic,” he told his followers.
“I hope everyone’s alright. What the f*** man?
