Britney Spears’ doctors and her temporary conservator want her father Jamie off her conservatorship as soon as possible, according to a new court filing.
Britney’s temporary care manager Jodi Montgomery and her doctors have allegedly agreed they want her father out of the conservatorship as soon as possible.
Jodi has remained in control of Britney’s “person” since 2019, meaning she helps with Britney’s medical decisions and all things regarding the singer’s health.
In new legal documents, released by TMZ, Jodi has officially joined Britney’s bid to remove Jamie as the conservator of her estate.
The move could be a push towards Britney’s freedom much sooner than originally thought, although she is next due in court on December 13.

The documents claim that it is in Britney’s best interests for her father Jamie to be removed from the conservatorship.
Jodi claims that Britney’s medical staff and therapists agree and also want Jamie out.
As Jodi and Britney’s medics agree on outing Jamie, it is believed the judge is more likely to side with them and end Britney’s conservatorship currently dictated by her father.
As a replacement to oversee Britney’s estate, Jodi has named Jason Rubin to be appointed conservator instead.

Since 1993 he has worked as a forensic accountant and even testified as an expert witness in hundreds of cases before.
More importantly for Britney’s case, Jason Rubin works closely with Maya Rubin, who has experience of being a court-appointed trustee and conservator.
Maya has extensive experience in helping to restore peace between feuding families, which is especially important as Britney’s own sister, Jamie-Lynn, has struggled to help her situation.
Her employee profile on Certified Strategies Inc website says: “Maya has successfully facilitated conflict resolution and peace among family members and related parties. [She] is experienced with the elderly memory impaired as well as clients with physical and mental disabilities.”
Jason Rubin’s LinkedIn profile says: “My experience consists of complex matters involving securities litigation, criminal, real estate, intellectual property, bankruptcy, fiduciary and trust litigation, family law, employment law, insured reimbursement of claimed losses and other general civil complex litigation.”
Jason’s 1992 degree in Accounting from Northridge will also come in handy working out how much the Hit Me Baby (One More Time) hitmaker is owed in damages as well as royalties from her music.
