Britney Spears has claimed that she wishes to have more children and remove her IUD, but is unable to because her “conservator won’t let her”.
The 39-year-old bravely spoke for the first time in court today in Los Angeles amid her ongoing conservatorship battle.
Addressing the court via a remote link, Britney said: “I want to be able to get married and have a baby.
“I have an IUD inside of myself so that I don’t get pregnant, but [my team doesn’t] want me to have any more children.”
She went on: “I have an IUD in my body right now that won’t let me have a baby and my conservators won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out.”
Britney is already the mother to Sean, 15, and Jayden, 14, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Since 2008, the singer’s personal and business affairs have been controlled by a conservatorship agreement set up following her public mental breakdown.
Her father, Jamie Spears, is partly in control of the agreement and the subject has been the topic of a number of bombshell documentaries this year.
The star told the court: “I am not happy, I can’t sleep. I’m so angry, it’s insane. And I’m depressed.”
She went on to say: “My dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship, including my management … they should be in jail.”
Britney compared her life under the conservatorship to being like a “slave” and said that she wanted to sue her own family.

She said: ”I just want my life back, it’s been 13 years and it’s enough. It’s enough and it makes no sense at all… I’m done.
“The main reason why I’m here is because I want to end the conservatorship without being evaluated.”
Her dad responded to her claims with his own statement to the court where he said he was “sorry” to hear how she was in pain.
“He is sorry to see his daughter suffering and in so much pain,” the statement reads.
“Mr Spears loves his daughter very much.”
